RIFTER: JUSTICE EDITION, Featuring black paint smeared on the end of the Rifter FOR ADDED JUSTIC!

So I've been stuck fighting injustice IRL, which is far less fun than fighting injustice in fighty shooty spaceboats. Far more paperwork and talking, not enough HIGH OCTANE SPAC BATTALS.
So I've been very pleased to be back in internet space.

And even more pleased to find on my return, that you can now get OVERPRICED VANITY RIFTERS!

So I obviously bought one. It made sense that a fancy Rifter deserved a special fitting, even though it has the same abilities as a normal Rifter. BUT IT NOW COMES WITH ADDED BLACK BITS, WHICH MAKE IT MAGICAL LIKE A SPACE UNICORN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
I'm not going to reveal the fit because at time of posting it's still alive, but I will say its a variant I made on one of my old polic partner SASSY B's fits, and I like it muchly. Despite the fact that I had to make it run away from a merlin :(
Also it's not got any faction, just T2 and named so don't be disappointed if you blow me up and don't get any fancy loot.

It took some time, surprisingly, to get a fight, it took TWO WHOLE DAYS in fact. I should of made battle with an Incursus but PIRAT KORPARATION "THE BASTARDS" PILOT WOULD NOT COME NEAR ME, DESPITE LANDING ON GRID TWICE WITH MY RIFTER WARSHIP!

Eventually my Rifter got christened apprehending a pilot who was ILLEGALLY PILOTING A DESTROYA CLASS VESSAL WHILE INTOXICATED 

Refreshed from the warm glow of enforcing justice, I once again took to patrolling the skies in my Rifter Justice Edition today. Metropolis seemed safe until I jumped into Resbroko. where I spotted a SUSPICIOUS LOOKING BRACHER WARBOAT! in a faction warfare plex. I went in to investigate.

As I landed on the acceleration gate, an IMPERAL NAVY SLICA was on my overview, He had just activated the gate and was clearly an AMMARR KRIMINAL off to harass the brave Bracher freedom fighter. THIS I COULD NOT ALLOW!

I landed in the plex in time to see the Breacher escape. Though I was 21km off the slicer when I came out of warp AND THIS IS NOT IDEAL FOR AN AB FRIGAT VS A SLICA.
Purple LAZORS cut deep into my shields, I approached the slicer at an angle trying to reduce the incoming damage, and to my surprise he rocketed off to 45km. Clearly my approach had spooked him a little, and he somewhat overshot his kiting quite drastically.

This is when I had to chose to fight or flee, a slicer could potentially make much violence upon me. HOWEVER I noticed as he burned to range that his point had the range of a tech 2 disruptor. This made me want to stay, as having flown the slicer quite a bit myself, I'm aware how tight it is for CPU, and I gambled that the tech 2 point made it likely that he didn't have a DCU fitted, so if I caught him I could probably melt his boat rather quickly. The downside is though that no DCU meant he was likely nanotastic making him harder to catch.

He burned back in, I heated my AB and went head on at him, hoping to catch him on that pass.

I missed

He was super agile, and my tank took a beating in the process. I only had time to make one more attempt to catch him or the fight would of been unwinnable. I burned away from him at full speed, like I was trying to run, as I hit 23km from him I SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES, FLIPPED MY RIFTER AROUND AND FLEW AT HIS SHIPS FACE! 

I landed the heated point! Then went for the bump so his inertia couldn't take him to safety. Not entirely sure if the bump landed but either way he was locked down, and I unloaded Phased plasma into his hull while pulling into a tight orbit to out track his scorch. My tank however was not in a good place and if he had a DCU or even switched to multi I could still go down. I hit hull first, this was going to be close. BUT IT TURNED OUT MY PREDICTION WAS RIGHT \o/ When his armour fell his hull evaporated in seconds.

AND THE KRIMINAL MADE EXPLODE!

I was flying a Vagabond class speed vessel on my way to join fellow Hydra Offica's on a patrol, when I jumped into KRIMINAL CARTEL BLUE FEDERATION.

Ares, Rifter, Omen and Caracaral, I start to align out when ARES TAKAL BOAT TAKES KRIMINAL STATUS UPON ME, I point him and apply my 220s as he EXPLODES IN A BALL OF FIERY JUSTICE. The Caracal and Omen by now have also taken GCC and I turn my attention to the Caracal missal boat, I fly to 8km apply my neuts AND BRAWL, the Caracal unable to stand the force of my Vaga and police sentry guns dies fast. At this point a MYRM DRONE WARLORD appears, and the Rifter decides that THIS IS THE OPTIMAL TIME TO ATTACK...

...It wasn't

Shields getting low I then switch to the Omen, which soon crumbles. At this point my shields are at 5% and I had no DCU fitted so I made a TACTICAL DECISION to burn away from the Myrm to regain tank. The Myrm remained on grid taking sentries while DAMPENING ME??? When my shields had recharged a bit I BURNED BACK IN TO MAKE DESTROY, however the Myrm managed to jump out in hull escaping Justic FOR NOW, BUTJUSTIC WILL CATCH UP TO HIM EVENTUALLY.

Birfday init

So today is my IRL birfday. At some point this week i shall have a CELABRATIONING PATROL in an exciting boat i treat myself to as a birfday present, probably Rifta because Rifta is the best boat. I SHALL ALSO ENDEAVOUR TO MAK BLOG POST OF PATROL as i understand i've been somewhat lax at updating the blog.

I logged on and entered the Lulm solar system in my Wolf class Assault boat (AS SEEN IN THIS BLOG BANNA), upon entering I decide to make a routine stop off at the gate for the local plex in order to park and review my route of patrol.

BUT KRIME WAS AFOOT IN THIS SYSTEM.

Soon another WOLF CLASS VESSAL lands, piloted by a minion of NASHH KADAVR SPACE PIRAT. Ever eager to do my duty I lock up and engage the kriminal, my 150mm's begin ripping shreds off the pirats armour and as his passive buffer hits 50% ANOTHER KADAVR PIRAT MINION LANDS this time in a RIFTA WARSHIP. He however, landed 40k off, and before he reached engagement range I heated my autocannons and made an end to the enimie Wolf.

In low armour I flip my vessel around to engage the Rifter. In a TOTALLY PRO MOVE I proceed to burn out my armour repair unit immediately. However this didn't prove an issue as the Rifter vaporised quickly under the awesome firepower of the wolf assault boat as I was entering hull.

Thrasher Of I Beast

Sooooooo some of you may remember me as that one wat used to write a blog, WELL after a eve break over the summer I'm gradually starting to play again. I've been wandering about in a Rifter mainly because RIFTA BOAT BEST BOAT.

Last night after a rather uneventful patrol I decided to head to Hek FOR ROUTINE RIFTA MAINTANENCE. Expecting to find all quiet and well I was HORRIFIED to see A BAD MAN IN A THRASHER LITTERING WITH INTENT TO CAUSE KRIMINALITY. Like any good citizen I picked up the cargo can IN ORDER TO ANALYZE THE EVIDENCE FOR A LATER COURT HEARING. I bagged the evidence of ONE UNIT OF REPUBLIC FLEET FUSION WAR BULLET which incidentally is a HIGHLY DANGEROUS thing to be left lying around in space. SOME INNOCENT COULD FIND IT AND MISTAKENLY VIOLENCE THEIR OWN BOAT.

To my shock enraged with INJUSTIC the kriminal Thrasher boat began making shoot upon my polic Rifter, most likely to destroy the evidence I had collected. I immediately heated my afterburner and got into a tight orbit in order to out track the offender and unleashed the righteous fury of my 125mm autocannons charged with EMP. The Thrasher pilot was neuting me so I had to be mindful of pulsing my armour repair unit and checking my warp scrambler stayed applied so he could not escape. INEVITABLY with low armour the kriminal exploded.

I repaired my boat and began the task of the OFFICAL PAPERWORK.

THEN SUDDENLY...

...HE REAPPEARED IN A NEW THRASHER AND BEGAN TO ATTEPMT VIOLENCE!!!

Fortunately the ensuing battle happened exactly the same way. Leaving me with MORE REPAIRS AND PAPERWORK. Which I grudgingly began to complete...

...THEN SUDDENLY...

...HE APPEARED AGAIN AND ATTACKED in yet ANOTHER THRASHER. 


This time he had removed his WARP SCRAMBLING DEVICE in favour of a web, I closed in a tight orbit, but this time he was harder to out track so I had to manually pilot. JUSTIC however PRVAILED and he blew up AGAIN this time though I finished the fight in less than half structure. Wary of further attack I decided to switch out of the Rifter into that renowned bringer of justic the PLATELESS LAZOR PUNISHER WAR BOAT.

YET AGAIN THE KRIMINAL APPEARED IN ANOTHER THRASHER also with a web instead of a point. BUT THIS TIME I WAS READY as predicted he tried to make violence onto me but using the SWIFT GRACE OF THE PUNISHER I heated my afterburner and moved to the edge of scrambler range, from where I RAINED DOWN HOLY PURPAL LAZOR UPON HIM UNTIL HIS THASHER WAS NO MORE.

After this he realised his defeat and did not trouble the forces of justic again.

Rifter Out a Rollin'

I logged on after downtime today and perused my available space patrol boats. As is often the case one of my RIGHTEOUS RIFTERS OF JUSTIC stood out as the boat for me this afternoon. So I hopped into a trusty AC, plate and armour repper fit and undocked.

Metropolis was relatively quiet but it wasn't long before I stumbled upon KRIMINALS INTENT ON WRONGDOING. I'd just jumped into Egmar and was met on the gate by an ARES SPACE BOAT OF TAKAL. It was piloted by a member of SCUM. a large pirate blob alliance currently based out of Taff. The Ares locked me up and tackled me from range, I orbited the gate with my afterburner and watched local, ONE MORE SCUM KRIMINAL ENTERED, after blipping d-scan for some time to ascertain his boat to no avail, I decided that IT WAS IMPERITIVE FOR ME TO BRAWL DOWN THE ARES. After a short time burning away from the Ares getting him a little off the gate to hopefully buy me time to gank him, I flipped my Rifter boat 180 degrees and tackled him, almost immediately a JAEGAR PIRAT ATTACK VESSAL landed 30k off, so I heated my guns and BRAWLED THE ARES DOWN FAST. The Jaguar had closed quickly with a mwd and I was sitting at half armour. I scrambled him and flew away before thinking to myself.

HANG ON...

MWD...

NO WEB...

I CAN TOTALLY TAKE THIS KRIMINAL DOWN

I flipped my, by now rather battered Rifter, around and got into a tight orbit. I was reducing his damage fo shure, but it was obvious that i'd go down first, I heated my afterburner, this helped ALOT though he was still getting some decent hits on me trying to joust me using his superior agility. As his shield broke I was very much on fire. I desperately repped to try and buy me the few extra seconds I needed, my repper was almost burnt and more worryingly my afterburner was as well, if that went I'd explode. I continued grabbing reps where possible and manual piloting to increase transversal as best I could. I hit 20% hull as I began working on his structure.

THEN MY AB BURNT OUT...

I looted with a sliver of hull as a hostile Crow landed, I then warped to a nearby station to give my lil Rifter a well deserved repair

It is 2 days before christmas and the kriminals of eve are all up to DASTARDLY EVIL WRONGDOINGS. So a SPECIAL POLIC PATROL IS NEEDED. That patrol...

IN A RIFTER \o/

I'd Just lost my Typhoon battleboat on its first ever patrol jumping into many many DRAEKS.

My fresh clone woke up two jumps from KBP entrance to the kriminal infested space known as PROVIDENCE. I checked the hanger where an afterburner fit Rifter sat.

IT GLEAMED WITH A RADIENCE OF INFINITE JUSTIC.

So I decide to fly it on a short patrol of Provi. Two jumps in I noticed that I am being actively stalked by two suspicious looking characters flying a blaster Taranis boat and the FEARSOME SENTINAL VESSAL. After a couple of warp in and outs on the two at a gate I very luckily warp at range and land on top of the ranis with the sentinel 100k off PERFECT HE CANNOT MAKE WARP TO ME FROM THERE \o/

I heat EVERYTHING and tear into the Taranis with Phased Plasma as the Sentinel burns at me with his mwd at an alarmingly fast pace. The Sentinel closes into range as the ranis hits the meatiest part of its tank THE MIGHTAY GALLANTA HULL. Neuts and tracking disruption sets in and I do the only thing any self respecting officah of the gallanta police would do I SIT IN THE RANIS's BLASTER OPTIMAL AND BRAWL HIM DOWN.

Right Taranis down and me in scram range of a Sentinal GO GO RIFTAR SCRAMBLAR. I hit approach as he is trying to grab range and I want to track him. A MIGHTY TEST of how quickly I can turn my scrambler and afterburner back on after they turn off at the end of EVERY cycle, begins. And luckily for me I can manage to turn them on before he can pulse his mwd EVERYTIME \o/

The KFCK JUSTIC ENFORCMANT TEAM haven't been able to log on much recently in order to ENFORCE THE GALLANTA POLIC LAWS, However on Saturday night we managed to find time for a short patrol in RIFTER SPACE BOATS

The evening began with a small engagement with the kriminal lowlife known as EVE UNIVERSITY, who were loitering in Ardar. A rather standard engagement we took down a Raptor before the main blob landed. Sassy then managed to make warp. I was pointed by a Stiletto, so I burned away then flipped my Rifter justice boat around and tackled the kriminal inty. Unfortunately, as I started violencing the kriminal boat standard eve uni practice of DROP THE ECM DRONEZ FROM OUR BLOB ON THE RIFTAH kicked in and I got locked out. :(

I Jumped into a new Rifter and we decided to head Evati way, all seemed rather uneventful until we ran into PIRAT KORPARATION THE BASTARDS. My Rifter landed on the Orfrold gate in Egmar to be confronted by pilots TFS Tibbs in a Wolf Boat and TheHermit in a Crow. Sassy was one jump behind, and we had no idea if more Bastards loomed on the other side of the gate. We came to the decision that an AF and an Inty were no match for DUBBAL RIFTAR, and that we'd go for them and hope nothing we couldn't violence jumped in. I locked them up and got in a tight orbit on Tibbs's Wolf, Rf Fusion loaded in heated 150s, waiting for Sassy to land on grid. As soon as Sassy's Rifter got in Dscan range the over confident pirates opened fire on me. I tackled the Wolf as Sassy B's Rifter boat burst out of warp and we lit him up. As Tibbs entered hull Sassy B peeled off to try and land tackle on the Crow. I promptly finished ADMINISTERING JUSTIC TO THE PIRAT MAN. The Wolf exploded with me in 30% armour and the Crow lingered longer than he should of trying to finish me. Sassy B Unleashed OFFICIAL POLIC WEBBING AND SCRAMBLING WEAPANS upon him, enabling us to MAKE JUSTIC!

HURIKANE OF WELL THOUGHT OUT AND TOTALLY NOT WRECKLESS PLANS OF BATTAL

So I was flying around in my Hurricane trying to not be so wreckless cos I'm rather low on isk at the mo, then what did is see BUT A PROTEUS WITH A FLASHY KRIMINAL LOKI, clearly a not wreckless engagement, I locked them up and looked at them to clock their guns/subs the Loki's subs made it look like a big strange thrasher MY CANE CAN TOTALLY KILL THRASHERS I thought.

Also the Loki appeared to have t1 arty fitted, the Proteus also had t1 guns \o/

Unfortunately before battle could commence a Machariel landed and started firing meta 800mms at the Loki, WTF IS THIS WITH THE 2BILL OF HULLS FLOWN BY PEOPLE WHO CAN'T FIT THEM ALL IN ONE PLACE.

Anyway the T3's ran away and people started smacking each other about being cowards running away from each others t1 gunned lolboats.

As this was happening I FORMULATED AN INGENIUS AND TOTALLY NOT WRECKLESS PLAN. The plan was to swap the nano out in my cane for a third gyro load fusion chase the t3s and BRAWL THEM DOWN.

After The Mach had gone I pursued the t3 kriminals 2 jumps, I missed tackling the flashy Loki on 2 gates AS THEY HAD CLEARLY BRIBED THE CCP TO GIVE ME BAD UNCLOAKS ON JUMPS. They then told me how they can totally blow me up and docked :(

Disheartened I headed back to Ardar, but shortly after I'd docked up in Thukker the Proteus pilot entered system. I TURNED ON POLIC SIRENS AND MADE HASTE TO THE FLOSESWIN GATE. I set an orbit of 10k and waited for the Loki. The Proteus soon appeared on grid but he wasn't flashy and taking sentry fire for 2x t3s in a cane seemed unwise even if they were T1 gunned. Then the Loki pilot appeared in local, THE GATE FLASHED. I overloaded my highs and point in anticipation. Since the Proteus was on grid already I was gunna need to drop the Loki fast if I wanted to brawl them both down. The Loki uncloaked and started re-approaching the gate WITHOUT A PROP MOD, 20k from me, I heated the MWD pointed the kriminal AND GAVE HIM A SOLID BUMP OF JUSTIC \o/

I then park my cane next to him bombarding RF Fusion into his hull as he helplessly boosts his shields UNABLE TO ESCAPE THE JUSTIC OF MY WELL THOUGHT OUT PLAN OF ATTACK. The Proteus doesn't aggress at all he just sits there as the Loki Satisfyingly

I scoop the loot and warp off, as my Highs are dangerously hot and the Proteus hadn't aggressed.

Upon seeing the kill mail I feel somewhat disappointed that the booster didn't drop, but given police funds were at 16mil I can't really complain when I got the faction point and amplifier.

Later that evening, I'm returning to Ardar from Amamake in my Rifter, WHEN A GATE CAMP OF KRIMINALZ ATTEMPTS TO VIOLENCE ME they were flying a Muninn, a Harpy, a Rifter, and a Hurricane. I ofc escaped and with aggression on all of them JUST TWO JUMPS FROM MY HURRICANE. I quickly switch into my cane refitted its nano and returned for the kriminals. Conveniently the Muninn had entered Frerstorn one jump ahead of his gang, I let him aggress me so he thinks he's forcing me through the gate into his friends, and I believe it takes him by surprise when, after he agresses, I UNLEASH THE RIGHTEOUS FURY OF MY 425MM's. The Muninn, Is falling fast as the gate flash's, I fly away from the Harpy, Cane and Rifter staying out of possible scram range while finishing off the Muninn. Then I switch my guns and drones onto the Harpy, that soon like his Muninn friend IS REDUCED TO WRECKAGE BY THE FORCES OF GOOD. The Rifter of course is next to explode. RIGHT TIME FOR YOU TO SPLODE NOW MISTER KRIMINAL HURRICANE, as I begin to go to work on the cane, what appears but of course A DAM FALCAN!!! I'm promptly jammed, I hold on grid for a bit to see if I can get a lock on the Falcon but I'm completely permajammed, I BUMP HIM TO SHOW MY DISAPROAVAL and then dock up, to rage a lil bit about how much I hate Falcons. During which time I notice Laedy had posted a new blog ABOUT THE EVIL BANE OF ANY SOLO PVPER and how her new corp like them.

EVIDENCE COLLECTION

Ardar was pretty empty, not long ago i'd lost a Tempest to a battlecruiser gang, and the wreck was 60k off the Hadozeko gate. So being the enterprising young officer that I am I hop into my VIGIL BOAT OF JUSTICE ENFORCEMENT AND EVIDENCE RECOVERY, to go and salvage my wreck. I notice in an intel channel that “The Entity” a terribad alliance who like to bait and blob are a few jumps out in 3 Hurricanes, I don't pay much attention to it though as there is evidence to be recovered.

I land on the gate and head out to the wreck, lock it up and proceed to salvage. Then local jumps up and the gate flashes. An Entity Rifter and Stiletto uncloak and start burning towards me with MWD's.

THIS IS A KRIME SCENE AND OFFBOUNDS TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.

I lock up the Rifter as he screeches into scrambler range, I move to 7k from him and turn on my rails making sure to stay within 5k of the Tempest wreck to continue salvaging.

SALVAGE SUCCESSFUL \o/

Then the interfering Rifter explodes, and I turn my attention to the Stiletto that is pointing me from 20k, and the three Hurricane class boats steaming towards me. I burn away from the Hurricanes gaining some distance, then turn a harsh 180 degrees, heat my afterburner and scramble the Stiletto.

The intercepter pilot is soon, much like his Rifter friend in a POD!

His explosion however coincided with a Hurricane getting into long point range, with my Vigil in deep structure and precious evidence in my cargo hold it seems attempting arrest of the Hurricanes would be fool hardy, so I burn out of point range and warp with 28% Hull.

I dock up in Thukker mix to process the evidence.

BASICIALY I want to make boat violence to you, and all your internet spaceship friends until I explode in a blaze or glory and/or noobish piloting mistakes.

SOOOOO intro for my first blog done, so lets cut to the spaceship stuff.

I logged on in Lulm - Heimatar, in my shiny Jaguar, a boat I've been enjoying immensely of recent. I undock and scan the systems local plex. Low and behold I scan a Daredevil there. Now if there is any frig I'd think twice about fighting its a Daredevil, so, naturally I warp to the plex guns hot, and bust through the acceleration gate. I land on top of the Daredevil and commence violence. He locks back webs scrams neutrons OUCH!!!!

The experience reminds me how much I LOVE the Daredevil, so I decided its time to hop into my own. I Bimble about a bit but find no targets. Then I jump into Evati, where I scan a Rifter, and a couple of Battlecruisers on a Station. Turns out the Rifter is Nashh Kadavr an acquaintance who I've been getting some nice kills with recently, and a member of the Bastards. I decide that I can totally blow up his Rifter and maybe not die to the Battlecruisers. I start burning towards him. Nashh docks :(

Then he fleets me.

turns out a small Bastards gang are probing a drake in a mission. Nashh and I go in for tackle, he's caught easily and melts fast. I roam with the Bastards a bit and score a few ganks then call it a night.

Next day, Daredevil still alive. I undock in Ardar, and scan a Bastards Frig gang swarming a Cyclone, BEING THE CHAMPION OF JUSTICE THAT I AM, I WARP IN. there like a bazillion miles off the belt, I warp off and back at range, and my corp mate arrives in system in his slicer and aligns to the belt, I land 40k off Persephone Astrid's Griffin that is jamming up the Cyclone and burn at it, as I get into web range, the Cyclone pops and I call Sass to warp to me. Persephone explodes before Sass lands, JmanZA and Nichonostra lock me up in Rifters and engage, the other Bastards frigs bail :( JmanZa is tracking disrupting me, this is an issue till I realise, I stop orbiting, sit still and make violence to his 90% webbed boat, he pops as I'm hitting hull, but with him down its only seconds till Nichonostra's Rifter follows suit. Of course, if the rest of the gang held their nerve and didn't warp out there frigs, then I most likely would have been toast.

Later I'm in my Rifter and see a bigger Bastards frig gang ganking a flashy cane on a gate. I warp to the gate.

Now, help the Bastards?, help the Cane? Or jump and warp off?
